QUILTMAKER'S DREAM COTTAGE RETREATS

Here at the cottage we have started to offer the "Quiltmaker's Dream" retreats.

We are doing this in an effort to make the possibility of a retreat even more affordable for all those quilter's, scrapbooker's and fiber artists. These retreats are held at the same well prepared cottage that our full pampering retreats are held, with just a few, small differences.

Quiltmaker's Dream retreats include;

Lodging for up to 6 guests

all bedding and linens, towels provided

A fully equipped kitchen for your use

Dining room separate from the studios

(no need to move your work to eat)

Well lighted work studios, complete with

ergonomically designed chairs,

6 ft. work tables,

a design wall

a cutting station

3 irons and ironing boards

washer and dryer

Sitting area within the work studios for handwork

or perusing the latest quilt magazine.

costs for renting the entire cottage are:

Weekdays - Sunday thru Thursday nights ~ $215 per night (2 night minimum)

Weekends - Friday and Saturday nights ~ $300 per night (2 night minimum)

We also have very close by, 2 quilt shops, a yarn shop, a grocery, and several restaurants

Packages and Pricing

We offer a number of pre-planned packages for quilting retreats and can also work with you to customize a quilting retreat package or any other type of arts retreat package that will meet your needs. We have set these up to give you an idea of what can be arranged and to help out guests that may have limited time available for a quilting retreat. We know these are the ones that may need to get away from it all the most!

Whether you decide on pre-planned package or have us work with you to develop a custom package, you can rest assured that you will receive all the pampering and great food that you can handle during your quilting retreat or arts retreat here at the Cottage.

For full group bookings of 6, where you have booked as a group, we can customize all meal times to best suit your needs. These times will need to be given to the Cottage staff before your arrival, so that we can prepare appropriately. We also offer a discount for full group bookings of 6 people.

For those of you who might be the "instigator" in planning a get away for your group of quilting buddies, the base prices are listed below. Please keep in mind that we'll work with you in planning so that you get the best bang for your buck.

Base Price is $100 per person, per night, plus tax

Included in this price are lodging and work studio, 3 full meals per day, 24 hour coffee, tea and snacks.

Massages, available during your stay, from fantastic licensed massage therapists, run approximately

$35 for a 1/2 hour massage

$55 for a 1 hour massage

Our weekend Getaway package is for those who work full time jobs, whether it’s as a full time mother or outside the home. If you can only be away for this short time, you will still feel as is you spent as much as a week “away from it all”.

A late supper will be served on Friday evening. This will be set for 8 pm. if we have assorted guests arriving. If you have booked this package as a full group of six guests, we will be happy to set the time which will be most convenient for your group.

If you can all arrive to dine at 6 p.m. and would like to do that, or if you won’t be arriving and ready to eat until 10 p.m. we can accommodate you. Please remember we can only customize this meal time if you have booked as a full group of 6.

The Weekend Getaway Package includes:

· 2 nights lodging (Friday and Saturday)

· Late, lite Supper on Friday arrival

· Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner on Saturday

· Full Brunch on day of departure

· Late check-out time of 4 p.m.

· Unlimited snacks, coffee and teas

· A one (1) hour massage on either Saturday or Sunday (to be determined according to therapist’s schedules)

This is optional but Highly recommended !

Pricing for this package is $279.57 per person, including Tax

Pricing for this package w/out the massage is $263.75 per person, including Tax

The Mid Week Sneak Package is identical to the Weekend Getaway Package listed above but can be arranged on a Monday/Tuesday, Tuesday/Wednesday or Wednesday/Thursday night’s stay.

The Budget Getaway Package is perfect for those watching their pennies, or for those

that, due to distance or schedule, may have eaten before arriving their first night.

The Budget Getaway Package includes:

· 2 nights lodging (your choice) Check-in time is 4 p.m. or later

· Unlimited Snacks, coffee and teas on arrival and throughout your stay

· Full Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner the day following your arrival

· Brunch on last morning of your stay

· Check-out time of 2 p.m.

The price for this package is $211 per person, including Tax

As with all packages, if you book this as a group of six, we can customize your meal times to suit. Advance notice of times must be given.

The long weekend package is just what it says. This is a 3 night stay, Thursday thru Saturday, or Friday thru Sunday nights.

The Long Weekend Package includes:

· 3 nights of lodging, check-in time of 1 p.m.

· Dinner on evening of arrival, at 6 p.m.

· Full Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner for the following 2 days

· Full Breakfast and Lunch on day of departure

· Late check-out time of 4 p.m.

· Unlimited snacks, coffee and teas on arrival and throughout your stay

The price for this package is $337.60 per person, including Tax

The longest pre-planned package that we put together is named, appropriately, the “Your family will be lucky if you come back after a weeks worth of pampering!!” package. This is for you die hard quilters, knitters, crafters and such, or those of you that are only able to get away once a year so you make sure you stay as long as you can. As this name gets a bit long, we’ll nickname this the Lucky Family Package.

The Lucky Family Package includes:

· 6 nights of lodging with early check-in time of 1 p.m.

· Unlimited snacks, coffee and teas upon arrival and throughout your stay

· Dinner on evening of arrival, at 6 p.m.

· Full Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner for the following five days of your stay

· Full Breakfast and Lunch the day of departure

· Late check-out time of 4 p.m.

· A One (1) hour massage scheduled during your stay (scheduling dependent on Therapist’s Schedule’s)

Pricing for this package is $683.00 per person, including Tax

This package also offers a group discount rate. If you book this package as a

full group of six (6) the price per person is $600, including Tax.
